A few things you may be wondering about:
1. Is that Scott's voice in the trailer/test clip? Yes. Yes it is. And I'm providing the voice of Scott. I've re-recorded my lines and made the voice higher and louder to fit Scott's comic persona. Don't worry, it won't be annoying loud. More like spastic loud.
2. WHEN THE F--(insert explitive here) IS THIS COMING OUT BLAAARGH!!?!?!?! Well, I'm not sure, anymore. I'll let you know when I get closer to finishing my animating.
3. How will the characters look? Well, at first, I was doing a literal trace-over of Volume 1, and then I thought to myself, "That's fucking lazy. Try harder, you lazy, stupid asshole!!!" So yeah... Characters will look like they do in volume 6. Or as close to that as they can, due to my shitty-ass drawing abilities. (That was mostly a joke... Mostly...)
So there you have it. It'll take even longer so that I can deliver something of better quality, sacrificing quicker release for something at least passable. Also, tell people to read this blog if they like Scott Pilgrim and cartoons and would like to see those 2 worlds make sweet, sweet love to each other. The more people who want to watch it, the more motivated I will be to do it!
OH! I also - due to microphone quality, among other things - had to replace Kim. Do not worry, the old Kim was promised (I think) the role of Roxy Richter (when I finally get there), so in the mean time, our new Kim is none other than... Ooh, a real drumroll, nice.... KARRIE SHIROU!!! Yes. If you don't know her, look her up. She's awesome.
And one more thing, before I stop boring you all to death. I'm deleting the scene with Stacey for the first episode and adding a scene to make it more exciting. I'm removing the scene with Stacey because I decided I didn't like it that much and I'm adding this scene so that you guys don't turn off the episode before it's finished. Also, it'll add more depth. Don't whine. Don't try to convince me otherwise. You'll like it. I think. I hope. Whatever... And now... EPIC SCREENCAP TIME, MUTHERFOCKERS!!!

ReplyDeletei for one can't believe there's only two comments here... so now there are three. but first off, you should try to make it easier to find this page, it takes too long to find you haha. and, you've already tried answering this question so i'll be more specific, in what year do you think you'll be done with your first episode of the Scott Pilgrims Precious Little Life series? i ask because i'm suprised no one else has tried to animate the series and/or tried to parody it in an animation format. also i'm getting bored with everything else on the internet and becuase of what i've previously stated it would be nice to see some change in my options... other than that, I'M A HUGE SCOTT PILGRIM FAN!!! SADLY I HAVEN'T GOT THE MONEY TO BUY THE 5TH AND 6TH OF THE SERIES AND NO ONE SELLS THEM IN THIS SHITTY TOWN I LIVE IN BUT I'VE READ 1-4 AND BEAT THE GAME A GAZILLION TIMES. PLEASE FINISH SOON AND BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE ANIMATING IT (OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE "VS. THE ANIMATION" CRAP WHO THOUGHT ONLY TO ANIMATE THAT ONE FLASHBACK AND NOTHING ELSE) I AM A VERY VERY VERY BIG FAN OF YOURS AND I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH SCOTT PILGRIM ANIMATED!!!!
